We
all know it CAN be done but……
Yet, why do
most of us find it so difficult?
Why
can't we enjoy
the process of losing all that unnecessary
fat?
Yet
for most of us....it still remains one of the most miserable
things we'll have to do...
..When
it SHOULD be one of the most
enjoyable things you'll ever do!
For most of
us, ‘something’ seems to make it
very difficult for us.
We all start off
well.
We’re
positive and optimistic.
We're feeling good.
And things seem
fine in the beginning. The new diet is fine
– even the exercises don’t seem too bad.
But after a
few days, things seem to get hazy.
We
start to lose focus.
Will.
Desire.
We begin to put off the exercise
and start to slip up on the 'diet'.
The novelty
wears off...... and we stop
enjoying the process.
It starts to become a
shore, a duty. Something we must force
ourselves to do, if we want to lose those pounds.
Soon, we don’t want to do it – but we feel we MUST, if
we want to lose THAT weight.
Eventually, we’re
'at war' with ourselves.
Part of us
wants to lose the weight, while another part of us
wants to put off trying for another day.
This part of
us will come up with hundreds of ‘reasonable’
excuses why we should STOP now and start again later.
Yet, the
‘positive’ part of us will resist this
and want to stick to the diet.
Eventually,
we end up feeling…..
- Tired
- Exhausted
- And fed-up.
Everything
starts to look and FEEL bleak and helpless.
And, after a
little while….we end up eating the 'chocolate
cake', or whatever is at hand!
And then, we
feel even more miserable!
Because after we
have eaten the ‘cake’, we realize that it
wasn’t even that nice.
AND.....That we didn't really need it
In fact, we
REALIZE that we could easily have done without it and been just
as HAPPY.
